Offers clothing, furniture, electrical and electronic equipment which were excess after distribution to needy families
The idea started in 2008, where Hifz Al Naema Project which is the first food bank in Qatar was established with a community initiative. Its role was to collect surplus food and distribute it to those in need in Qatar. The project became a social center to raise awareness for receiving surplus food and furniture and redistribution them.
Hifz Al Naema Center, stated that during the month of Ramadan,distributed approximately 3,500 meals daily to various locations within Qatar, such as Industrial Area, Al Shahaniya, Al Murrah, and Muaither, which are housing points for workers. For families and individuals, meals were available for pick-up at the Sheikh Eid Charity Foundation headquarters in North Khalifa City.

The Local Organizing Committee for the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 has signed a cooperation agreement with Hifz Al Naema Center, Qatar's leading food bank, to donate surplus and unused food from match days to workers and other beneficiaries as part of the tournament’s broader sustainability strategy to reduce food waste.

at the Expo House, Al Rayyan Municipality launched the Solidarity Initiative for Food Sustainability. This initiative is in collaboration with and the Hifz Al Naema Center. The initiative aims to reduce food waste and loss, maintain sustainability in Qatari society, achieve the principles of food, agricultural, environmental, and health sustainability, and activate the recycling of all organic, solid, and plastic materials to help preserve the environment.
