The center also distributed more than 89 tons of vegetables and fruits, and 143 tons. Of chicken, 16 tons of meat, 3 tons of rice, 2,9 tons of sugar, and 19 tons of dates, and 90,926 liters of water were distributed. liberality basket project It is a generous initiative launched by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in cooperation with Hifz Alnama Center by providing foodstuffs to all needy families registered with us. The center took into account all the precautionary measures followed in the country, and was keen to cancel any gatherings related to distribution, which was reflected in the mechanism and method of distributing the baskets. The distribution has been prepared since mid-April before the blessed month of Ramadan through the center’s 12 cars. The center communicated with registered families to determine the place of residence and deliver the basket to the family’s residence. In-kind aid: The charitable warehouse department of the center also received 13,803 pieces of furniture, 1,552 ready-made electrical and electronic devices, and nearly 174 tons of clothes, from which they were distributed to workers and families in need after studying the cases presented, and the number of beneficiaries from in-kind donations this year reached 337 families. He worked and offered the remainder for sale at nominal prices to families with limited income, which helped the center to develop its business and expand the circle of benefit. Various projects: The Center has implemented many projects within its seasonal programs, as it implemented a fasting breakfast project this year, and 24,850 benefited from it during the blessed month of Ramadan through a partnership contract with a number of restaurants that donated daily meals that reached 1000 meals per day and were distributed to fasting people in Al Rayyan, Al Gharafa. , Khalifa City, Industrial City, and Ammunition, as the center distributed 1,450 Ramadan food baskets to needy families, and also distributed sacrifice to 284 families. As for the Zakat Al-Fitr project, this year witnessed in addition to receiving the Zakat from grain donors, which exceeded 9 tons. A partnership was concluded with the Zakat Fund of the Ministry of Endowments, which in turn provided 1,500 large baskets of grain for families, and 2,500 baskets for workers, and all the quantity was distributed. Over 1,500 families and 3,062 workers before Eid prayers. Also, 1500 Eid clothing coupon was provided, which was distributed to 1500 families with the support of the General Administration of Endowments.
